Hugh Jackman has been the one constant in the X-Men universe having appeared in all seven previous installments beginning with 2000’s X-Men. The role helped make him a superstar and while it’s hard to imagine anyone else in the iconic role, next year’s Wolverine 3 will be his last as the clawed superhero.
